Martin is Mattress Online’s COO. He has been working in the bed and mattress industry for 15 years. Martin partnered with Steve in the summer of 2019 and has been with the company ever since.

Before joining the Mattress Online family, Martin first worked at electronics giant Toshiba. He later moved to leading bed retailer Silentnight and gained his first experience in the bed and mattress sector. From working in the Silentnight Group for 11 years and immersing himself in the world of sleep, Martin has a vast knowledge about the manufacture and quality of mattresses and beds.

Martin’s roles and responsibilities include overseeing the following:

• All of the Operations teams including Warehousing, Dispatch, Customer Deliveries and Customer Service
• The commercial functions of the business, including merchandising and supplier relationships
• The retail stores, including the in-store sales and management teams, along with our store expansion programme

He’s also been known to put his DIY skills to the test and put up the odd shelf or even fix a broken toilet!
