74% of Brits – roughly 40 million of us – have kicked off 2025 with New Year’s resolutions. And as usual, one of the most popular resolutions is looking after our health and wellness. But while you're busy trying to build better habits and smash your goals, don’t forget to give some love to the space that sets the foundation for your days – your bedroom.
A good night’s sleep starts with the right environment, so if you’re struggling to fall asleep, or find yourself waking feeling less than refreshed, it’s time to rethink your bedroom setup.
To help you create the perfect space, we’ve rounded up the hottest bedroom trends of 2025, inspired by Pinterest data. Let’s dive in!
Here are the most popular trends, ranked by the number of Pinterest Pins:
Taking the top spot, gallery walls are all about showcasing your style. Mix and match your favourite art pieces, personal photographs and frames to add real interest and warmth. Want to elevate the look even further? Pair your gallery wall with a coloured bed frame for a cohesive yet striking design.
Snagging second place, cosy colours are perfect for creating a relaxing bedroom vibe. Deep greens and blues are trending, offering a calm, inviting feel. Not a fan of dark shades? Warm neutrals like soft beiges and taupes are a great alternative for a snug yet bright space.
Nothing says luxury quite like a draped curtain. Securing third place on the list, these heavier fabrics add elegance while offering practical benefits like improved privacy, better light control, and even insulation to keep your room warm during chilly nights.
Wallpaper is making a bold comeback, coming fourth on our list. Whether you prefer subtle patterns or eye-catching designs, adding wallpaper behind your headboard can instantly transform your bedroom into a statement space. Why not pair it with a memory foam mattress for a blend of style and comfort?
Who doesn’t love a cosy corner to unwind? Reading nooks, rounding off the top five, are a wonderful addition to any bedroom. All you need is a comfy armchair, a warm blanket, and a soft light. If space is tight, consider setting up your nook right next to your bed for maximum comfort and convenience.
Still not sure which colour to go for? Hannah Shore, our Head of Sleep Science, has shared some useful insight on picking a colour for your bedroom:
"Choose room colours that evoke a calmness in you; think of colours you see in nature, subtle colours of blues and green. Bright colours can make the room feel busy and alive which is not what you want when falling asleep.
“Of course there is some psychology behind this but colours won't necessarily affect everyone, so if you have a bright yellow bedroom and are sleeping fine then that is great, you don't have to go and change everything.
“Different things evoke calmness in different people too. My calm place is nature so I try to bring that into the bedroom to help me sleep. Think of a place that evokes calmness in you, the colours associated with that place and try to bring those into your bedroom decor."
Investing in your bedroom isn’t just about aesthetics. A well-designed space can improve your mood, enhance relaxation, and boost sleep quality. Whether you’re a first-time buyer, moving into a new home, or simply updating your current setup, incorporating these trends is an easy way to create a sanctuary you’ll love.
While updating your decor is exciting, it all starts with the basics; your mattress. The foundation of great sleep, a quality mattress offers support and comfort, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about improving their rest.
