Bobbie Butters

Bobbie Butters is a Lecturer in Sports and Exercise at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and an internationally accomplished Powerlifter who is a member of Team GB. A European Powerlifting Champion, Bobbie also holds world gold medals in the squat and bench press.

Beyond her competitive success, Bobbie is dedicated to education and shares her expertise with students at UCLan with a background of strong research, especially in the field of how the menstrual cycle affects athletic performance.

Sharing her expertise with Mattress Online, Bobbie contributes to The Sleep Journal on topics related to sleep around physical training, preparation for competitions and athletic performance.
