The Royal Warrant of Appointment is an incredibly prestigious award granted to brands that supply goods for the Royal Household. The current Monarch personally awards this appointment once the following areas of the brand have been thoroughly examined: quality, materials and ethics.

Hypnos are one of only a handful of mattress and bed manufacturers to receive this appointment, which is an excellent testament to their expertly crafted range of mattresses and beds. You’ll struggle to find a mattress brand as decorated as Hypnos!

What is a Hypnos bed?

Hypnos beds are a collection of exclusively divan beds paired with a Hypnos mattress.

Hypnos beds are available with two different types of bases:

• Firm edge divan bases
• Platform top divan bases

Once you have chosen your Hypnos divan base, you can then choose the depth of your base. Your two options are:

• Deep divan base
• Shallow divan base

From there, Hypnos offer a variety of storage, feet and headboard options, so you can create the perfect bed for you.

All you have to then decide is which luxurious Hypnos mattress you are going to pair with your Hypnos bed.

The Hypnos farmers

Hypnos believe that a great night’s sleep begins by using the finest sustainable materials the British countryside has to offer. That’s why Hypnos are proud partners with The Woolkeepers initiative and Red Tractor.

Hypnos has cultivated a strong relationship with the farmers tending to the sheep whose wool is used to create your luxury natural mattress. Each farm and farmer is passionate about sustainable and ethical farming, with many of their farmers having decades of farming and shepherd experience under their belts.

Red Tractor assured

Hypnos is one of the only bed and mattress brands to be Red Tractor certified. This means that all of the natural fibres used in Hypnos beds and mattresses can be traced directly back to their source through Red Tractor.

Each year 350 independent inspectors carry out a farm inspection on Hypnos farms to check that they continue to meet high industry standards. This includes the welfare and treatment of the livestock and how the product is then packed, transported and stored throughout its journey to the factory.

Hypnos are proud to have the Red Tractor stamp of approval and continue to go above and beyond expectations and standards each year.

Carbon neutral

Hypnos Beds has been carbon neutral for over a decade, and for this and their environmentally-friendly product design, they have been awarded ‘The Planet Mark - Carbon Neutral’ certification.

Hypnos was well ahead of the curve by becoming the very first bed manufacturer in the world to become carbon neutral - but they didn’t stop there.

Measures have been implemented throughout the mattress and bed creation process to reduce the carbon footprint of every single Hypnos product. This includes:

• Using renewable, natural resources
• Ensuring that all product designs and production have low-carbon solutions
• Continuing to focus on carbon offsetting and social responsibility programmes

Eco-friendly solutions

On top of everything, Hypnos has also created the first recyclable packaging solution in the industry! This packaging is made from renewable carbon dioxide-depleting materials and sugarcane.

They have also planted over 8,000 trees across the world.
